Nova Scotia does not hire like one place. Inside Halifax Regional Municipality the constraint is usually transit and shift timing — the person who fills your Saturday shift may live across the bridge and needs a bus that actually runs at that hour. Outside HRM the constraint is the opposite: there is often a willing local workforce and no one organising it, so the site that recruits properly gets the crew and the site that posts an ad waits.
We work both realities from the same Dartmouth office. In Halifax and Dartmouth we place from a standing HRM pool. In Truro, New Glasgow, Amherst, the Annapolis Valley, the South Shore and Cape Breton we recruit around your site, which takes a few days longer and produces placements that stay.
